Keith Yabumoto, M.D, attended the University of California, Los Angeles graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1996. Following his medical degree, he then attended the American Universityof the Caribbean, School of Medicine, completing his Medical Degree in 2001. Dr. Yabumoto then went on to begin his internal medicine training at the University of Southern California. In 2004 he served as Chief Resident at USC’s residency program. After his internal medicine training, Dr. Yabumoto joined USC’s Cardiology Fellowship in 2006 and became the Chief Cardiology Fellow in 2008.
During his 8 years at USC, Dr. Yabumoto was also an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine as well as the Associate Program Director of the Internal Medicine Residency Program.
After completing his fellowship, Dr. Yabumoto joined Comprehensive Cardiovascular Specialists (CCS) as a staff physician specializing in cardiac imaging and early detection technology. His emphasis includes, Echocardiography, Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE), Nuclear cardiology and CT Angiography. Outside of CCS, Dr. Yabumoto and his wife raise their son and daughter in the San Gabriel Valley area, and in his free time he enjoys basketball and wood working.
