Michael Yeh, MD, grew up in the San Gabriel Valley area, and received his Bachelor Degree of Science from the University of California, Los Angeles. In 1991 Dr. Yeh attended St George’s University, School of Medicine for his medical training. He moved to New York to complete a residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Yeh then returned to UCLA, in 1998, to complete his Cardiology fellowship at the same time earning a Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Pathology.
After his fellowship he joined the UCLA faculty. He was then invited to provide clinical service to our patients at Comprehensive Cardiovascular Specialists in 2004. Finding CCS’ mission meaningful and the patients rewarding, he joined our group as a full time clinician in 2004. Due to his dedication to his patients and the organization he soon became a partner. Under the broader specialty of Cardiology, Dr. Yeh’s emphases are cardiomyopathy and advance heart failure management including before and after heart transplant evaluation. Aside from serving the patients of CCS, he also is the Fellowship Program Director of Western University.
Dr. Yeh and his wife also have a daughter, and in their free time they enjoy classical music and reading.
