What is a electrocardiogram (ECG) test?
An electrocardiogram (EKG) is a quick test that is done to check for any arrhythmias. An EKG translates the heart's electrical activity into line tracings on paper.
How do I prepare?
This test is simple, noninvasive, and quick. It generally will not include any complications or require any recovery time. As soon as the EKG is done, you can return to your normal activities.
